Bug#910785: gets confused by window manager resize on startup, resulting in empty window
Package: libreoffice-calc
Version: 1:6.1.2-1~bpo9+1
Severity: normal
I run a tiling window manager. This means that the window manager picks
the size of the libreoffice calc window on startup. Calc appears to
remember the size of its window across running it.
What I observe:
(1) If I start up calc (with a file) and it ends up with the same window
size as the last time it was run, I get the spreadsheet I expect,
with all the menus, grids, contents, etc.
(2) However, if calc gets either a bigger or a smaller window, then all
I get is an empty, grey window until I cause it to resize again
manually.
Clearly, calc should also work in case 2 without me having to resize
things.
[1:5.2.7-1+deb9u4 in stable has a similar (but not exactly the same) problem]
Cheers,
