Bug#880665: "transfered" is wrong, but not complained about

How to reproduce:
1. Open a fresh document.
2. Type in "transfered".
3. Mark the word as English (USA).
4. Run the spellchecker.
Observe that no complaints are issued.
However, the correct form has double "r", namely "transferred".
So, the spellchecker must complain.
(I'm not reporting upstream, since I don't know who is the culprit: the
flexion mechanism, the dictionary, or libreoffice itself.)
