was the last upload and it says "New upstream development release."

God knows when that 4.13 will enter sid. Do you know when?

I (most probably, unless something serious happens or a transition is started before
that) know when 6.0.0 will enter unstable though:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan/6.0#6.0.0_release

5.4.5 will come far later:

Now just checked LXDE:

Ah, Gtk2.

> What web browser are you going to use on this hypothetical gtk3-free system?

How is that relevant to what LO ships as VCLplugs? LO tries to detect the
desktop...
Note that you are correct, the fallback is gtk3->gtk(2)->gen, so people who
installed -gtk3 will get that.. but still...

It's not about not shipping gtk2 or gtk3, or what some hypothetical other software than LO
uses - it's about shipping what fits the desktop, and that
_is_ gtk2 for Desktops in Debian. (note LxQt uses Qt5 AFAICS so barring something for that one,
changing the task there to -gtk3 might make sense. Dropping -gtk2 not yet).

Rene
