"Probably"? Don't you have logs?
I can confirm though it's kept since jessies version just depends on -core without
any version constraints. (probably will stop working then on upgrade but...
Don't really feel keen on doing a o-p-u upload for this ;))

That was what indeed was done in stretchs debian/ but since there wasn't
a stretch version of this package never executed. And removed for buster
because those conversions were "not needed" anymore.
Reinstating the .maintscript for libreoffice-sdbc-firebird.
