1. I have the same bug in a new install of stretch from 20.06.2017.
Version: Debian GNU/Linux 8.7.1 "Jessie" - Official Multi-architecture
amd64/i386 NETINST #1 20170116-14:30.
Writer crashs without info.
All other libreoffice progs are ok.
2. But in my testing-stretch is this not a problem.
