I reported this upstream (libreoffice upstream) but it has been ignored. I'll check my bug report and update this one later.

I have a laptop usually with an external screen attached. 
Base opens my forms on the smaller laptop window and thye don't fit. 
It always does this, and it refuses to remember my replacement on to the external screen.

I open the database on the external monitor. 

using KDE.
