Oh, and if you already know it's gtk3-specific one probably should assign
this correctly: aka to libreoffice-gtk3.

And even if this was a bug: I would consider it minor, you can see the
stuff.

.. at least here, judging from your screenshot.

But as said, I *do* have proper checkboxes in my 5.1.3-1~bpo8+1 on
jessie-backports in GNOME (so -gtk3)
