Thank you for providing a sequence of steps to reproduce the
behaviour. You said:

When the maintainer reported back that following these steps did not
result in the reported behaviour, you responded:

Can you expand on what that statement means? Does this mean the steps
to reproduce do not reliably cause the bug behaviour for you either?
