Hello

/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/basic/dialog.xlc is a file as in libreoffice-base as
in libreoffice-common.

IMO it is right in libreoffice-common because it is arch independent.

I don't know why /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/basic/script.xlc give an error
message.

Regards

Mechtilde

Completely intended.

This is why it's in -common, yes.

The version in -common is stripped-down (without Access2Base), though. -base
contains the "full" upstream version (with Access2Base=. Without this trick
I'd need to keep the base-specific Access2Base in -common, which I don't want.

And this works because -base diverts -commons version away.

$ dpkg -L libreoffice-base | grep basic\/dialog
/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/basic/dialog.xlc
package diverts others to: /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/basic/dialog.xlc.noaccess
$ dpkg -L libreoffice-common | grep basic\/dialog
/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/basic/dialog.xlc
diverted by libreoffice-base to: /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/basic/dialog.xlc.noaccess
/usr/lib/libreoffice/presets/basic/dialog.xlc

(this is since libreoffice (1:4.3.0~beta1-1) experimental; urgency=low:

  * debian/rules:
    - move /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/basic/Access2Base from -common to -base,
      as it clearly is Base-specific
  * debian/control.in:
    - add Replaces: for the Access2Base move
  * debian/libreoffice-base.{preinst,postrm}.in: dpkg-divert dialog.xlc
    and script.xlc... FIXME: Better, scalable solution..
)

Not a bug. Closing.

Regards,

Rene
