Package: libreoffice-avmedia-backend-gstreamer
Version: 1:4.3.3-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

  trying to insert AVI video in libreoffice-impress presentation, it does not seem to work without having gstreamer1.0-libav installed on the system. Although I can imagine the package is only needed for certain types of videos (I haven't tested that on other different video files), it might be worth putting gstreamer1.0-libav into recommened or at least suggested packages of libreoffice-avmedia-backend-gstreamer.

Best regards,
Pavel

That was intended by recommending gstreamer1.0-ffmpeg. Which is gone
without noticing and now it's too late for 4.3.3 in jessie.

This is fixed already, though:

  * debian/rules:
    - suggest gstreamer1.0-libav instead of gstreamer1.0-ffmpeg
      (closes: #776593)

I don't believe a Recommends: change will qualify for a point release so I
am not sure it will ever be fixed in jessie..

Regards,

Rene
