When you distribute the source package, yes.
And if you rebuild the Debian package and publish that one you MUST -
debian/* is GPL.

I don't see why - the problem is pretty obvious, but well.... :(

Of course you'd need to add --with-gdrive-client-id=XXX and
--with-gdrive-client-secret=XXX to debian/rules (or a file included there)
to call configure with that. At that point anyone getting the source
will be able to see the secret.

If you download it from somewhere (which btw is not allowed in Debian package
 builds, they have to work offline) you see the URL to get it from. And
eventual secrets.

And manual intercention is a no-no either because you
a) need to autobuild without manual intervention
b) then you have only one (or none, all archs are autobuilt) architecture having
   that feature and all others not.
