Hi!

I tried to do what you suggested but not only it will remove
libreoffice-gnome, but all of gnome due to dependency. I was trying to
figure out how to force my aptitude to not remove all of gnome, but I
saw that the bug has been closed.

If you still need that info, please let me know it and I will try to
find a way to do as suggested.
