I would not say so - there's problems, yes...

was/were? You mean they are gone? ;)

Well, I *do* have highlightning on menu elements for example.

Do you use some special theme? Some other special configuration? Does
starting with a new user profile (~/.config/libreoffice) help? (Some
other reports suggested that it helps in some cases.)
