I can at least say that with the 4.4.4 backport to jessie this problem DOES NOT
appear. I didn't yet check with unstable/testing. But that suggests to me that it's
some interaction issue between LO and some (newer) Gtk2 libraries...

I am not to solve it - if there was a LO bug here LO upstream would need to solve
it ;)
