Bug#780497: libreoffice-common: no "sounds" directory in /usr/lib/libreoffice/gallery
Package: libreoffice-common
Version: 1:4.3.3-2
Severity: important
Tags: newcomer
Dear Maintainer,
Hi,
Hi,
I just wanted to make presentation on Libreoffice Impress with full integrated
sound transitions effects.
The animation of presentation works well but without sounds :(
A investigate in my system and a research on the web gives me that the sounds
files (.wav) are normally located in /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/sounds.
I do the constat that there is no "sounds" directory in my current libreoffice-
common package(1:4.3.3-2) as well as in the experimental package. this explain
my silent animation of my presentation.
So, I see two ways to solve this:
- I get a .deb with the "sounds" directory (for exemple : libreoffice-
common_3.5.4+dfsg-3~bpo60+2_all.deb), just extract the "sounds" directory and
place it in ~user/.config/libreoffice/4/user/gallery
- I think it also works with the location "/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/" for all
users.
The first workaround works for me and gives me some working sound effects.
i hope it helps.
Cheers.
Nicolas
