Package: libreoffice-impress Version: 1:3.5.4-5 Severity: important Hello, thanks for maintaining LibreOffice in Debian. I am encountering serious difficulties in using loimpress. It seems to segfaults often. Minimal test case to reproduce this bug: $ loimpress With a few clicks and keystrokes, prepare the attached minimal presentation (test.odp). Save it also as test.ppt and test.pptx Exit from LibreOffice $ ls -a . .. test.odp test.ppt test.pptx $ loimpress test.odp Exit Libreoffice segfaults when exiting: /var/log/kern.log says soffice.bin[2456]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f80674629d7 sp 00007fffb61cbba0 error 4 in libvcllo.so[7f80672a0000+7e5000] $ ls -a . .. .~lock.test.odp# test.odp test.ppt test.pptx $ loimpress test.odp LibreOffice offers me to recover the document: if I accept, the recovery finishes successfully and the presentation is opened. Exit $ ls -a . .. test.odp test.ppt test.pptx I managed to reproduce the segfault again and again (by just "loimpress test.odp" and then Exit, as above), but not always, which is problematic, I know... :-( Moreover, the saved test.odp and test.pptx files seem to be detected as damaged files by Microsoft Office 2010. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (800, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libreoffice-impress depends on: ii libc6 2.13-33 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.1-2 ii libreoffice-core 1:3.5.4-5 ii libreoffice-draw 1:3.5.4-5 ii libstdc++6 4.7.1-2 ii uno-libs3 3.5.4-5 ii ure 3.5.4-5 libreoffice-impress recommends no packages. libreoffice-impress suggests no packages.
