Besides that it isn't surprising as it's the same version built
on wheezy (so the lib thing in my other reply doesn't apply, but hey...):

No, it hasn't.

If you didn't use -t wheezy-backports as the docs say use that.
Clean wheezy + apt-get -t wheezy-backports install libreoffice *DOES* work.

If you only specify -l10n-de, the said version contraints in the previous post
are broken, so apt tries to remove it. Maybe a apt dumbness, but not a LO
bug.
(Same probably with your previous sid attempt, which you should not do.)

apt-get -t wheezy-backports install libreoffice libreoffice-l10n-de
(+ maybe extra stuff) should do what you want.

This is not a bug here at all. Closing.
