Package: openoffice.org
Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-7etch5
Severity: normal

Openoffice has been working fine for some time, but just yesterday after OO.o entered document recovery mode, it got stuck in recovering a document, and I killed the process.

It continually got stuck in document recovery on a certain document, and I finally moved the document it got stuck on, at which point it continued - only to get stuck in loading the documents. By stuck, I
mean that it appears to start loading the document, showing the blue squares rapidly at the bottom of the window, then does nothing more. The window then freezes - it does not update further. I have
waited for some time to see if it is doing anything, but top/ps doesn't show any activity.

I have tried loading various files (big and small ones) all to no avail.

I have managed to load calc to a 'blank' file, which I then entered a little bit of data and saved - only for that document then to freeze on the loading screen.

I have removed/renamed ~/.openoffice.org2/ multiple times and removed/purged/reinstalled openoffice (2.x) - all to no avail :(

Please, any ideas would be gratefully accepted!
