version: 2.15-1
severity: important

Hi!

The different font shapes -- e.g. Sans normal/bold/italic/bold-italic,
Sans Extralight, Sans Condensed normal/bold/italic/bold-italic -- seem
unrecognized and puzzled up in some applications.

For example OpenOffice.Org Writer (2.2.0~rc2-1) shows the following
selection for DeJa Vu Sans (`Fett' is `Bold' in German, `Kursiv' is
`Italic'):

	ExtraLight
	Book
	Condensed Oblique
	Fett
	Bold Oblique

Abiword (2.4.6-1.1) shows only the following selection:

	Normal
	Kursiv
	Fett
	Fett Kursiv

Curiously, other Gnome-Applications like gedit, gvim and
gnome-font-properties show all available shapes for the font without
problems.

Apparently this is not a bug in the font or the packaging itself. I am
sorry for posting it against the ttf-dejavu package, but I had no idea
what else could be the cause for this bevaviour.

Don't hesitate to ask for more info or the reassign the bug to another
(maybe even the responsible) package! ;)

Cheers,
Fabian
