Package: libreoffice-writer Version: 1:4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 Severity: minor --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I was updating a form I created to produce a report every couple of weeks with many fields containing calculated dates set from a single hidden field variable I set at the start of the document. I had changed one displayed field to include a "NNNNDD/MM/YY" format code to show the name of the day so I could cross-check I had entered the raw date correctly but instead of the "Friday, 27/12/13" date I got for an entered value of 5110 I got "Saturday, 27/12/13" instead. A cursory search of the LibreOffice bugzilla page did not reveal any obvious reports of this. Adding a time code to the beginning of the format, i.e. changing to: "HH:MM:SS on NNN,DD/MM/YY" and changing the value to 5110.25 yields a result of "06:00:00 on Saturday, 27/12/13" which suggests to me that (as I am on Zulu / UTC time) that this is not a time zone issue. Using the formats on both an inserted "Date" and "Date(fixed)" fields DOES display the correct Day... --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.10-0.bpo.3-rt-686-pae Debian Release: 7.3 500 wheezy-backports mozilla.debian.net 500 stable-updates ftp.uk.debian.org 500 stable security.debian.org 500 stable mirror.home-dn.net 500 stable ftp.uk.debian.org 500 stable apt.spideroak.com 500 proposed-updates ftp.uk.debian.org 500 debs www.duinsoft.nl 100 wheezy-backports ftp.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed =========================================================-+-====================== libreoffice-base-core (= 1:4.1.2-2~bpo70+1) | 1:4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 libreoffice-core (= 1:4.1.2-2~bpo70+1) | 1:4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 libc6 (>= 2.4) | 2.13-38+deb7u1 libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.1) | 1:4.7.2-5 libicu48 (>= 4.8-1) | 4.8.1.1-12+deb7u1 libstdc++6 (>= 4.6) | 4.7.2-5 libwpd-0.9-9 | 0.9.4-3 libwpg-0.2-2 | 0.2.1-1 libwps-0.2-2 | 0.2.7-1 libxml2 (>= 2.7.4) | 2.8.0+dfsg1-7+nmu2 uno-libs3 (>= 4.1.0~alpha) | 4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 ure | 4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 zlib1g (>= 1:1.1.4) | 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 fontconfig | 2.9.0-7.1 fonts-opensymbol | 2:102.3+LibO4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 libreoffice-common (>> 1:4.1.2) | 1:4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 ure (>= 4.1.2~) | 4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 libatk1.0-0 (>= 1.12.4) | 2.4.0-2 libboost-date-time1.49.0 (>= 1.49.0-1) | 1.49.0-3.2 libc6 (>= 2.11) | 2.13-38+deb7u1 libcairo2 (>= 1.2.4) | 1.12.2-3 libcups2 (>= 1.4.0) | 1.5.3-5+deb7u1 libcurl3-gnutls (>= 7.16.2) | 7.26.0-1+wheezy7 libdbus-1-3 (>= 1.0.2) | 1.6.8-1+deb7u1 libdbus-glib-1-2 (>= 0.78) | 0.100.2-1 libexpat1 (>= 2.0.1) | 2.1.0-1+deb7u1 libexttextcat0 (>= 2.2-8) | 3.2.0-2 libfontconfig1 (>= 2.9.0) | 2.9.0-7.1 libfreetype6 (>= 2.2.1) | 2.4.9-1.1 libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.1) | 1:4.7.2-5 libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 (>= 2.22.0) | 2.26.1-1 libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.15.0) | 2.33.12+really2.32.4-5 libgraphite2-2.0.0 | 1.1.3-1 libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 (>= 0.10.0) | 0.10.36-1.1 libgstreamer0.10-0 (>= 0.10.7) | 0.10.36-1.2 libgtk2.0-0 (>= 2.24.0) | 2.24.10-2 libhunspell-1.3-0 | 1.3.2-4 libhyphen0 (>= 2.7.1) | 2.8.3-2 libice6 (>= 1:1.0.0) | 2:1.0.8-2 libicu48 (>= 4.8-1) | 4.8.1.1-12+deb7u1 libjpeg8 (>= 8c) | 8d-1 liblcms2-2 | 2.2+git20110628-2.2 libldap-2.4-2 (>= 2.4.7) | 2.4.31-1+nmu2 libmythes-1.2-0 | 2:1.2.2-1 libneon27-gnutls | 0.29.6-3 libnspr4 (>= 2:4.9-2~) | 2:4.10.2-1~bpo70+1 OR libnspr4-0d (>= 1.8.0.10) | 2:4.10.2-1~bpo70+1 libnss3 (>= 2:3.13.4-2~) | 2:3.15.3-1~bpo70+1 OR libnss3-1d (>= 3.12.0~1.9b1) | 2:3.15.3-1~bpo70+1 libpango1.0-0 (>= 1.14.0) | 1.30.0-1 libpng12-0 (>= 1.2.13-4) | 1.2.49-1 libsm6 | 2:1.2.1-2 libssl1.0.0 (>= 1.0.0) | 1.0.1e-2 libstdc++6 (>= 4.6) | 4.7.2-5 libx11-6 | 2:1.5.0-1+deb7u1 libxext6 | 2:1.3.1-2+deb7u1 libxinerama1 | 2:1.1.2-1+deb7u1 libxml2 (>= 2.7.4) | 2.8.0+dfsg1-7+nmu2 libxrandr2 | 2:1.3.2-2+deb7u1 libxrender1 | 1:0.9.7-1+deb7u1 libxslt1.1 (>= 1.1.25) | 1.1.26-14.1 libxt6 | 1:1.1.3-1+deb7u1 uno-libs3 (>= 4.1.0~alpha) | 4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 zlib1g (>= 1:1.1.4) | 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 Recommends (Version) | Installed =========================================-+-============== libreoffice-math | 1:4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 libreoffice-java-common (>= 1:4.1.2~) | 1:4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 default-jre | OR gcj-jre | OR openjdk-7-jre | OR openjdk-6-jre | OR sun-java5-jre | OR sun-java6-jre | OR java5-runtime | OR jre | Suggests (Version) | Installed ===============================-+-=========== libreoffice-base | 1:4.1.2-2~bpo70+1 libreoffice-gcj |Attachment: signature.asc

Closing then, thanks Eike. Regards, Rene P.S: The version specified in the report was wrong anywa in the first place - this BTS is not for bugs of bpo packages and it doesn't know bpo versions and actually does a wrong thing with it
