Thanks for the info,

Re-checked original and received files. Original file is indeed UTF-8, but mutt
insists in sending it as ISO-8859-1 and so is received.

This box has a long history and I recently switched from iso-8859-1 to
UTF-8 (in parallel with a i386->amd64 migration). There may still be some historical
definitions left (just catched MM_CHARSET and LESSCHARSET still set to latin1), but
things mostly worked.

Explicitly setting send_charset="us-ascii:utf-8:iso-8859-1" in ~/.muttrc (was
implicitly set to us-ascii:iso-8859-1:utf-8) forces utf-8 and things should
work. However, I do not think this should be needed, still unsure if this is
mutt's problem or some glitch at my box.

Anyway, Rene has uploaded the script properly encoded (thanks, Rene), so the
bug is fully closed. Now is time for me to try guessing where this problem
comes from.

Thanks a lot for your feedback,

Regards,
