Can also reproduce in 3.6.4 in experimental.
The usage output comes from core/desktop/source/app/cmdlinehelp.cxx in the source code.
Didn't find the source for oosplash which should be the binary handling this option.

"--view" doesn't work as described (but "-view" does). For
others there is a warning saying I should use "--option" instead
of "-option", so I would guess "--view" has been forgotten.
To avoid confusion between the old and new version I would suggest
to support both.
