I deleted my ~/.libreoffice and ~/.openoffice.org directories. That solved the problem, tables are now working as normal, so you can close this bug. Perhaps I should have moved those directories somewhere out of the way, so I could have a poke around to see what broke, but ah well, it's all good now. cheers, Simon
