Bug#616117: fails to embed fonts in exported PDF, resulting PDF unreadable in Acrobat Reader

I see precisely the same problem here with Bitstream's CharterBT-*
Type1 fonts (LibreOffice 3.3.1)

Same problem whatever the way LibreOffice generates the .pdf:
Export to .pdf / PDF/A checked or not,
When PDF/A is not checked, Embedded standard fonts checked or not.

Print / Print to file / to a PS file then Printing to PDF from evince
generates a (quite smaller) valid pdf with all embedded fonts.
