Bug#608732: stack trace ?

hello friends,

i wish to update that the problem happens with rc4 too,

i even went one step forward, and run lo as root, for the case a file failed to
be created/found.

if it cannot be reproduced in michael's setup, maybe there's a debian only
issue: a missing file etc.
