No, you can also choose "other external data source", then you can use
many types of datasources. It's not only the wizzard what does not work.
Excisting datasources stop working when you remove openoffice.org-evolution.

I use the datasource with MySQL (odbc) and fastNAW, an extention what
offers inserting data in a document:

I think there has to be investigated why this is happening. When there
is a driver missing in base, it could be added. Maybe strace can give
the right information.

My first goal with this bug was to make clear what the problem is when
you get an error about SDBC. I have searched hours before I got it
working again after updating to 3.2.
