OK, also tried with full-upgrade. Also fails.
(Also when installing sids aptitude first, though)

apt-get dist-upgrade *does* work, though.

So the question is what aptitude tries to do "better" so that it fails

I reopen the bug but set it to important as a easy workaround (using
apt-get) exists.
