Bug#551304: Openoffice writer 3.0 doesn't save correctly in Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) format

Wrong. Please follow bug report principles. 
Means: One bug in one report, look whether bugs already are reported.

If it's the former, it sounds "minor" to me, not "important". The latter
one is normal or  important, yes.

This looks like #550758 if you use KDE4 and the KDE4 file picker.
