Bug#536643: myspell-en-za: Use of unpatched myspell affix file (en_ZA.aff) breaks English (South Africa) myspell spell-checking
# if at all, but this at least is a version which once existed
# in contrast to 1:3.0.1-8ubuntu1
found 536643 1:3.0.1-8
thanks

WTF?
a) This is not Ubuntu
b) That version is not anywhere in Debian:
rene@mini:~$ rmadison myspell-en-za
myspell-en-za | 1:2.4.0-3 | stable | all
myspell-en-za | 1:3.1.0-1 | testing | all
myspell-en-za | 1:3.1.0-1 | unstable | all
please check with 1:3.1.0-1.

No, it's obviously not. If you looked at the "source code"
we just take the en_ZA.aff which is shipped together with en_ZA.dic.
If there is an error, it's in that dictionary in the "code",
not in the packaging.

Aha. And why am I supposed to do that instead of filing that bug upstream
so they fix that for their next release?

Just that this is irrelevant for Debian.

Ah, right. Reporting Ubuntu bugs on Debian on a package which is not
even in Debian. Sure...
