I can reproduce this even with upstreams binaries of 3.1.0 (also
the file Wang Long sent). Thus forwarding.
(and fixing the title, that OOo 3.0 is ok is a given with the current
bugs status - it's marked as found in 3.1.0-1 and we should sate what
characteristics the documents are)

That said, a.doc only has a (empty) table - are you sure it's the same bug?
If not, why did you the  send  unrelated document to a bug which
handles about bogus importing of a document when your document is different
and eventually an other bug?
