Package: openoffice.org-bin
Version: 1.1.3-9

I have used Openoffice.org to keep my company's paperwork as minimum and now I cannot use it because when i write oocalc (or oowrite, whatever, ooffice seems to start, but it won't open anything, it just hangs.) it starts sometimes, but not always.

I have tried to use Sarge distribution, also up to date testing update, with same result.

The process first opens the splash screen and progress bar goes from end to end. After that the splash screen stay for forever, the actual program does not seem to start. Only part that goes over the splash screen is the ooffice, but it hangs if I try to open anything.

Prelinking does not help at all.

ptakala@athlon:~$ uname -a
Linux athlon 2.4.30 #1 ti huhtikuun 5. 23:15:34 EEST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux
ptakala@athlon:~$

I do not know how to fix this, except by breaking up the package management system (get a code and compile -way)

The openoffice.org-bin binary package has been removed from Debian so we are closing
the bugs that were still opened against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://ftp-master.debian.org/removals-full.txt . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.

Kind regards,
