Package: openoffice.org-calc Version: 1:3.0.1-5 Severity: normal The function "IF", whenever I try to enter it in a cell, consistently report "Err:508", claiming a problem with bracketing. In despair I finally created a very little spreadsheet and copied the expression =IF(A1>5;100;"too small") verbatim from the Openoffice Help example. Same problem. I suspect that the problem may be related to the fact that I work in a not- quite English environment; my locale is en_DK.UTF-8. The separator ";" may be a different one? If that is the case, and I have missed to locate such info in documentation, I apologize; still, the exact error message would be quite confusing.
