sigh - I knew I shoudn't have filed the bug.rep here, pity bpo doesn't tell
where to file bpo bug - maybe /dev/null? sorry, but I'm still unclear what
to do of bpo bugs, wish bpo packagers/maintainers throw in a line to state
that clearly. Also, IMHO perhaps it'd be better Debian's PTS doesn't track 
bpo and such, if Debian's BTS can keep in sync.

but I do - wild guess, 2.0.4 is/was so b0rked, I've a hunch some old report
I got where related.

hu? it's a P1 and won't make it into Debian? after last comment I
experienced so many instances of this issue that I eventually purged OOo,
and going to use rpm-to-deb from official 2.4.1, crossing fingers of course.

glad to hear that - but will Etch users benefit from that as well?
(hope OOo3 won't get released without that old nasty datapilot bug fixed).
