Opening / importing the document below will bring it in as plain text.
I think trying to import an (X)HTML document is a common enough use-case to
log it with Debian too. The way to work round it is for a given file is
easy but not obvious; again a reason to put it in the Debian BTS.
WORK AROUND: delete the first line (the <?xml ... ?> bit).
