I tried senddoc but I need to configure/give it the Mailclient which I did already in Extras -> Optionen -> Internet -> E-Mail which isn't used here. The advantage of kde-open IMHO is that it uses the configuration the user/admin did in KDE and not an additional place where to configure it. So the patch would be: s/sensible-ooomua/kde-open for openoffice.org-kde. Note (maybe not interesting): There is a problem with kde-open in the mixed Debian kde3+4 versions in lenny and sid. kde-open (package kdebase-runtime) is now from KDE4 and if you want to use icedove kcontrol configures ~/.kde3 but kde-open already uses ~/.kde4 The solution is to configure icedove manually: .kde4/share/config/emaildefaults [PROFILE_Default] EmailClient=/usr/bin/icedove -- Noèl Köthe <noel debian.org> Debian GNU/Linux, www.debian.org
