I have a simple form for a database of only one table. The table has a
memo field. I noticed that when copying some text from Evolution and
pasting into the memo field on the form, the entire contents of the memo
field is deleted and then the pasted text is added.
I expect that the pasted text is inserted where the cursor is.
Undo restores the memo field contents.
I also that that I can not copy one word in the memo field. The copy
action appears to copy the entire contents of the field. Pasting then
deletes the existing contents, and replaces it with the copied text,
which means you end up with the same text you started with. So copy and
paste behaviour on the form is very surprising.
