Indeed.  When openoffice.org was installed it pulled in a bunch of
dependencies which I did not include in my response.  In my case, this
was a previously working openoffice install on sid that stopped
working after an upgrade to the latest packages which I believe is a
similar circumstance to Frank.

You may have Frank confused with Guy as I don't believe Frank has
tried removing his openoffice profile yet.  When Guy removed his
~/.openoffice.org2 profile the problem was resolved for him.

In my case, I suspect a previous sid update removed the required
openoffice packages that then left openoffice in a bad state.  Once
openoffice.org and it's dependencies were installed it works again as
expected.  If there is anything you would like me to test please let
me know.
