Bug#473873: openoffice.org: Windows to smaller than page if toolbars are on the side instead of top

A nice new feature of OOo 2.4 (or maybe 2.3 was when it was introduced), is the writer window opening to the width of a page (given enough screen space). Unfortunately putting the toolbars on the side (so that I can fit a page vertically at 1600x1200) means that the width is too small by the width of the toolbars.
I put this as minor, but it might even be wishlist.
Also, the height of the default window is not remembered across sessions.
