Package: openoffice.org-writer
Version: 2.2.1-7
Severity: normal
I am trying to insert data into a text document using fields.
I want to fill the fields from a database, selecting one dataset
and replacing the field names shown with the contents of the corresponding
fields of the dataset.
Usually, this works in Openoffice with the database tool bar, with symbols
for filtering the data shown and for inserting data into the text (explained
as "Datenbankleiste" in the german help file). I was using this on recent
Ubuntu versions.
In Debian, I can't find the database tool bar. It doesnt't open automatically
when opening the database view (F4), and it can't be enabled via
View->Toolbars. I don't see any other way to insert data either.
