Bug#456198: Issue 81789 fixed in the official 2.3.1 release but not in Debian

Package: openoffice.org-writer
Version: 2.3.1-1

Issue 81789 (http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=81789)has been
fixed in Openoffice 2.3.1 (see Release Notes) and I have indeed checked it is
fixed in the official deb version distributed on the Openoffice.org website.
However, the bug is not fixed in Debian (I tested it in Debian Lenny with
Openoffice.org 2.3.1 packages from Sid installed).

To recall the bug : OpenOffice.org Writer becomes *very slow* with documents
that contain embedded graphical objects. To reproduce : open Draw and create a
big drawing with some squares, circles, etc. Then copy it and paste it into a
Writer document with some pages. Then save and reopen. When scrolling the
document pages, Openoffice becomes *very slow* when scrolling the drawing.
The bug was in 2.3.0, and is not anymore in the official 2.3.1. But it is still
there in Debian.

This is a very annoying bug...
Best regards,
RB
