Package: OpenOffice.org Version: 2.2.1 Hello, After the last unstable dist-upgrade the arial font in Openoffice has changed incorrectly. In KDE controlcenter the font still shows correctly. There are only system wide fonts, no personal fonts. A new clean user has the same problem. The people at Openoffice 'blame' the problem on Debian specific distribution. I have attached two files. The original oo file and a screengrab how it looks on my machine. Here's my config: Linux kernel 2.6.18, running KDE 3.5 dpkg -l | grep openoffice ii openoffice.org 2.2.1-2+b1 OpenOffice.org Office suite ii openoffice.org-base 2.2.1-2+b1 OpenOffice.org office suite - database rc openoffice.org-bin 1.1.4-7.0.1 OpenOffice.org office suite binary files ii openoffice.org-calc 2.2.1-2+b1 OpenOffice.org office suite - spreadsheet ii openoffice.org-common 2.2.1-2 OpenOffice.org office suite architecture ind ii openoffice.org-core 2.2.1-2+b1 OpenOffice.org office suite architecture dep rc openoffice.org-debian-files 1.1.4-6+1 Debian specific parts of OpenOffice.org ii openoffice.org-draw 2.2.1-2+b1 OpenOffice.org office suite - drawing ii openoffice.org-filter-binfilter 2.2.1-2+b1 Legacy filters (e.g. StarOffice 5.2) for Ope ii openoffice.org-filter-mobiledev 2.2.1-2 Mobile Devices Filters for OpenOffice.org ii openoffice.org-impress 2.2.1-2+b1 OpenOffice.org office suite - presentation ii openoffice.org-java-common 2.2.1-2 OpenOffice.org office suite Java support arc ii openoffice.org-kde 2.2.1-2+b1 KDE Integration for OpenOffice.org (Widgets, rc openoffice.org-l10n-en 1.1.4-7 English (US) language package for OpenOffice rc openoffice.org-l10n-en-us 2.0.2-3 English_american language package for OpenOf ii openoffice.org-math 2.2.1-2+b1 OpenOffice.org office suite - equation edito ii openoffice.org-style-andromeda 2.2.1-2 Default symbol style for OpenOffice.org ii openoffice.org-style-crystal 2.2.1-2 Crystal symbol style for OpenOffice.org ii openoffice.org-writer 2.2.1-2+b1 OpenOffice.org office suite - word processor Thanks for your help, Raoul SuurmeijerAttachment: arial_sample.odt

The problem has been solved. In OO my arial was being replaced by another font (in KDE the arial worked fine though). By going through my KDE fonts (which is a huge list) I found a font called 'alien league'. This was the exact font that matched the appearence of my arial, as if it were replacing the arial in OO. I could not find any such config, but ok. By removing the alien league from my KDE the original arial was displayed again in my OO documents. Raoul
