When starting OpenOffice, I get the following printed out in the
shell:

I tried to find the shell script, but did not suceed. I changed the

There is no printer attached or configured on this machine, cups was
drawn in by some dependency. If you need additional information,
please tell me which.

(And thanks for packaging openoffice, it's great to simply apt-get it!)

Yes, though it took just 2.5 years for a simple reply for a simple to
reproduce issue.

Yes, it was the then current version which I intended to help along.

Since I cannot reproduce it, I herby close it. But if you read the bug
track, it was easily reproducible. Since I currently don't have access
to an ppc, I checked it on amd64.

Etch: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-7

My suggestion: a slightly quicker response to bugs. A "I don't have
time", "forwarded it upstream", wontfix, moreinfo lets the submitter
know that the bug has been read and is (not) beeing dealt with.

Did that. Please adjust if that is incorrect. I don't know when it was
fixed, so I used the etch version.

See my statement above. I am not constantly monitoring my bugs but
rather wait for a response to see if providing more info/help
debugging is appreciated.

Do you assume removed bugs are no bugs? "We don't hide problems", I
thought ....

Greetings
