Package: lmodern Version: 0.92-3 The lmodern provides Type1 fonts that look like the traditional EC fonts for LaTeX. Those fonts are registered for use in X applications, e.g. OpenOffice. The problem is that the ecircumflex and eogonek characters are swapped ; the same applies for Ecircumflex and Eogonek. A simple way to reproduce this bug is to compose an ecircumflex (ê) in OpenOffice in, say, Times font and then change the font to LMRoman10. It won't appear correctly. I made a simple patch that fixes the pfb files involved. Just do : cd /usr/share/texmf/fonts/type1/public/lm patch < lm-ecircumflex.patch -- Benjamin Sigonneau PhD student, LANDE project IRISA-INRIA, Campus de Beaulieu, 35042 Rennes cedex, France Tél: +33 (0) 2 99 84 73 29Attachment: lm-ecircumflex.patch

Version: 2.2.1-7 Dear openoffice.org user, Thanks for your interest in OO.org and the bug report you have contributed. Your bug report [0] was done for a version which is now quite old (pre version 2.0.0). During the last 6 weeks I sent 3 requests to update this bug report, and verify that this bug still exists with a more up to date version of OO.org. Since the bug is quite old, and I didn't get any response regarding this bug, I'm closing it. I'm using the current unstable version for proving version info. If you'll find this bug to still exist in a future version of OO.org, please reopen the bug and specify the affected version.. Let me know if you need help with this process.
