Bug#421274: openoffice.org: Wrong error when opeing a StarOffice 5.2 document w/filters installed
Package: openoffice.org
Version: 2.0.4.dfsg.2-5etch1
Severity: minor
If the openoffice.og-filter-so52 package isn't installed the suite pretends to
be able to open Star Office documents but when you try to do it the program
provides missleading information. First it shows a dialog to choose the format
and then says something about I/O error. The program should tell the user that
the filter isn't installed. It should, ideally, instruct about what to
install.
