Bug#418733: openoffice.org: CJK characters shifted in the new Writer

Installing OpenOffice.org-2.0.4 on Debian sarge 3.1 has been impossible for me.
I'd like to know if there is anythink to easier this task.
I have to say that on Mandriva I was able to install it as well as on Slackware.
For any help I thank in advance.
