Bug#397506: OpenOffice 2.0.4 (AMD64) dBASE table read not working

Whether I create a dBASE table (.dbf file) with an old version of dBASE, 
export it from Calc or Excel, or whatever, neither Calc nor Base can 
read it. However, dBASE and Excel can read it. I can also read the 
tables from OpenOffce v2 on a Windows XP (32 bit) machine. The problem 
is strictly with the table reading, not the writing.

Now I realize that dBASE is an antique, but the format is useful because 
almost everything can read it. This makes it useful for mailing lists, etc..
