Bug#387224: program/unopkg: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Package: openoffice.org
Version: 2.0.4~rc1
Severity: normal
The utility "program/unopkg" does not work if user has not started
OpenOffice before. This makes it impossible to install spell-checking
and hyphenation components like openoffice.org-soikko since normally
root never starts OpenOffice.
To reproduce this bug:
$ rm -r ~/.openoffice.org2
$ /usr/lib/openoffice/program/unopkg list --shared
javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
ERROR: (com.sun.star.lang.WrappedTargetRuntimeException) { { { Message
= "[context=\"shared\"] caught unexpected exception!", Context
= (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @0 } }, TargetException = (any)
{ (com.sun.star.uno.Exception) { Message = "Invalid language string.",
Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @0 } } }
unopkg failed.
Start OOo, close it and now unopkg seems to work fine with this user.
I have the following packages installed:
