Hi,I looked into the section about locales in /usr/share/doc/openoffice.org/README.Debian.gz The LANG=mylocale *almost* works, e.g. it interferes with gvim menubar language if one wants to retain the default language (e.g. English). However, the following works for me: it retains the menubar's languages but still allows openoffice.org to recognize the keyboard locale:
export LC_ALL=C export LC_CTYPE=ISO-8859-1Maybe this detail should be included in the /usr/share/doc/openoffice.org/README.Debian.gz
AFAIAC, this issue is solved and can be closed. Best regards, Joao Batista _________________________________________________________________MSN Messenger: converse com os seus amigos online. http://messenger.msn.com.br
