Bug#367684: openoffice.org-writer: Table of Contents prevents control-a from selecting whole file in oowriter
Package: openoffice.org-writer
Version: 2.0.2-3
Severity: normal
First of all, thanks for maintaining oowriter.
It's remarkable.
I happened to notice that inserting a table of
contents into a document prevents pressing
control-a from selecting the whole document.
Only "Table of Contents" is selected.
Here's how to duplicate the problem:
1.) Open a new and empty document in oowriter.
2.) Type "a" into it.
3.) Select the "a" with your mouse.
4.) Press F11 and give it a "heading 1" style.
5.) Move the cursor to the top of the file
6.) Select "Insert"->"Indexes and Tables" with your
mouse.
7.) Click on "OK".
8.) Press control-a. Only "Table of Contents" is
selected.
I compared another document's XML and found that
the working version had
<text:p text:style-name="P1" />
and the broken version contained
<text:p text:style-name="P1">Table of Contents</text:p>
Thanks,
Kingsley
