Not per se, but it looks like a result of the fix that was used for that
issue.  This bug entry in Gnome's bugzilla appears very relevant:

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166852

and "alexthelion" at the end of that OOo issue page says the fix didn't
go into Gnome until 2.9.x (not yet in Debian).
